The Film is based on an original screenplay by Wayne M. Bastrup. The script was a finalist in several screenwriting competitions, including the International Screenwriting Awards. The option rights to the screenplay are held by the Production Company.
The Film combines the gloss and structure of major Hollywood films with the raw eagerness of independent films with stunning settings and a local crew.
Red Red Moon Productions, L.L.C. was formed in 2007 to produce the successful feature film Rat City Blues, maintaining a high level of quality in terms of talent, story and technical proficiency. The company plans to utilize the best of Seattle, Washington and Los Angeles, California crew and talent.
Advanced copies of the screenplay are now available. Principal photography is slated for Summer 2008 in Seattle, Washington.
